Born 1949 05 01in the region of Telšiai, in the village of Mataičiai, grew up in the
region of Akmenė, in the village of Kruopiai, started attending school in the region of
Radviliškiis, in Legėčiai, graduated form secondary school in Papilė. Studied in
Šiauliai Pedagogical Institute, in the faculty of physics-mathematics. Having gained
the speciality of a teacher of physics, in 1973 started working in Kuršėnai 1st
secondary school. Three years later was appointed viceprincipal for learning matters of
Kuršėnai 3rd secondary school. After two years was appointed principal of Kuršėnai
1st secondary school, and when in 1981Kuršėnai 4th secondary school was built, he was
appointed its principal. In 1993 the school was named after Laurynas Ivinskis, and in 1998it
was granted the status of a gymnasium. |
